Aims and Scope
Molecular Imaging and Radionuclide Therapy (formerly Turkish Journal of Nuclear Medicine), is the official publication of Turkish Society of Nuclear Medicine (TSNM) . MIRT is an open access, scientific, peer-reviewed journal in accordance with independent, unbiased, and double-blinded peer-review principles published three times a year (February, June, October) in English.
MIRT is an independent scientific medical journal that aims to reach all relevant national and international medical institutions and persons in electronic and open access free of charge. It is aimed to publish original articles, case reports and reviews that include the results of studies and research conducted in the field of molecular imaging, multimodality imaging, nuclear medicine, radionuclide therapy, radiopharmacy, medical physics, dosimetry and radiobiology and passed through the peer-review process.
Molecular Imaging and Radionuclide Therapy is indexed in Pubmed, Pubmed Central (PMC), Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), TUBITAK-ULAKBIM, Scopus, Gale/Cengage Learning, EBSCO databases, ProQuest Health & Medical Complete, CINAHL, Embase, J-Gate, IdealOnline, Türkiye Atıf Dizini-Turkiye Citation Index, Turk Medline, Hinari, GOALI, ARDI, OARE, AGORA and CNKI.
The editorial and publication processes of the journal are shaped in accordance with the guidelines of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), Council of Science Editors (CSE), Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), European Association of Science Editors (EASE), and National Information Standards Organization (NISO). The journal conforms with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (doaj.org/bestpractice).
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
Author(s) and copyright owner(s) grant access to all users for the articles published in the Molecular Imaging and Radionuclide Therapy as free of charge. Articles may be used provided that they are cited.
Open Access Policy is based on rules of Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
